Immigrating to New Zealand

It's hard to think about picking up and moving to a small, relatively new country in the South Pacific. It involves uprooting yourself, your family, leaving relatives and friends. It often means adapting to new customs, values and routines.

If you do decide to make the change, there are two things you can be sure of:
The first is that you'll make a quantum leap in your quality of life. The second is that you will be warmly, wholeheartedly and unreservedly welcomed with open arms at Beth Shalom Synagogue.

More than 7,500 Jews live in New Zealand - the majority in Auckland - with a significant number also located in Wellington. There are two Synagogues in Auckland, Beth Shalom and Beth Israel.

For help and assistance in IMMIGRATING to NEW ZEALAND, please contact Leon Chapman of B'nai B'rith Immigration Committee. Please also refer to the B'nai B'rith web site.
