A tallit-making workshop was held on August 28 at Emanuel Synagogue, co-sponsored by ARZA and the UPJ. As part of an exciting international project, The Tikkun Olam Tallit Project 2011, textile artist Larraine Larry guided attendees in decorating a tallit for an emerging Progressive community in the World Union for Progressive Judaism.
